Why each stand is ranked where it is
SS tier
Wins races and fights on its own. Take it whenever you can.
- Tusk Act 1 (Stand): The best ranged pressure in the game right now. Charged and rapid nail shots chip riders down before they can reach you, and Nail Glide gets you out when they do.
- Sandman (Stand): Racing on foot with big jumps lets it take lines horses can't. Once it's up to speed it is one of the strongest picks for actually winning the race.
- Star Platinum (Stand): The strongest melee kit. Punishment breaks guards, the combos are long, and the time-stop Awakening wins most fights it's used in.
AA tier
Strong in most matches, with one clear weakness.
- Anubis (Stand): Fast sword strikes make it one of the best close-range options, a step behind Star Platinum because it lacks a fight-winning Awakening we can confirm.
- In A Silent Way (Stand): Sound abilities give it control and surprise that most stands lack. Strong in good hands, harder to use than the S tier picks.
- Oyecomova (Stand): Contact explosions hit hard and control space, but you need to set them up, so it's a little less reliable than the top three.
- Spin (Steel Balls) (Spec (not a Stand)): Works at any range: steel balls from afar, Steel Rush up close and a counter for defence. It just lacks the raw damage of the S tier stands.
BB tier
Solid and easy to use, but outclassed by the tiers above.
- Coco Jumbo (Stand): The hidden room is useful for survival, but it doesn't win fights or races on its own.
- The Sun (Stand): Racing on foot is interesting, but its abilities only shine in specific situations.
How we rank
We weigh how much a Stand helps you finish the race well (range, mobility, racing on foot) and how it holds up in Stage 2 PvP and Battlegrounds. We started from the first tier list published after launch and the confirmed move lists, and we'll move Stands as balance changes land. A Stand you know well will often beat a higher-tier one you just rolled.
