Star Platinum is a close-range brawler. Its punches and kicks chain into long combos, it has a grab that gets through blocks, and its Awakening stops time around you so you can hit freely. It has little reach, so you need to get in close.

| Move | What it does |
|---|---|
| Barrage | Rapid punches to start or extend a combo, with a finisher at the end. |
| Punishment | A short grab combo that gets past blocking. Can be upgraded to finish with Time Skip. |
| Kick Barrage | Kicks that push the enemy back. Good to end a combo. |
| Star Finger | A close-range strike that shoves the enemy aside. Can be swapped for Time Skip. |
| Uppercut | Launches the enemy into the air to start a combo. |
Awakening
Dealing damage fills the Awakening bar. Press G when it's full to stop time in a wide area around you. During it you get Beatdown, a stronger grab that can't be interrupted, and Harpoon, a projectile.
Is Star Platinum good?
We rank Star Platinum in S tier. The strongest melee kit. Punishment breaks guards, the combos are long, and the time-stop Awakening wins most fights it's used in.
Tips for Star Platinum
- Open with Uppercut, extend with Barrage, end with Kick Barrage for knockback.
- Use Punishment on players who block a lot.
- Fill Awakening fast, and save Beatdown for just before the time stop ends.
- Use the Revolver to stop people from running out of your range.
How to get Star Platinum
Use a Stand Arrow. Arrows are crafted from Stand Arrow Fragments, which you earn from races, quests, the Spin Wheel and loot in Battlegrounds. Codes that give Stand Arrows or Cash are the cheapest way to try for it; see the codes page.
