A Bizarre Run beginner's guide

1. Play the tutorial race
Your first game puts you in a practice race against computer riders, starting near the back. Follow the yellow arrows on the ground, hold C and click to shoot the explosive crate that blocks the path, and press Z to boost when the game tells you to at the bridge.
A clean run gets you first place, grade S, $400 Cash and a Spin Ticket. You also get a random Stand from a card draw during the tutorial.
2. Do the combat tutorial
After the race you can take a short combat lesson on the train or skip it. Take it. Blocking (F) and dashing (Q) matter a lot in Stage 2 and Battlegrounds, and you keep the race rewards either way.
3. Learn how the real race works
Register at the Ticket Booth before the countdown ends, then press N at a free numbered horse on the start line. You can't change horse or rider after registering.
Stage 1 is racing only: you can't shoot other riders, but you can shoot TNT on the route. Stage 2 has full PvP, a closing damage fog and checkpoints with time limits. Our race guide covers both stages.
4. Spend your first Cash well
Every race pays Cash and Spin Tickets, even if you don't win. Spin Tickets go into the Spin Wheel, which can give Cash, Rokakaka Fruit, Stand Arrow Fragments or a Shiny Stand Arrow.
A good early use of Cash is rerolling your horse's stats (1,000 Cash a try) until Stamina, Acceleration and Top Speed are decent. See the horse guide.
5. Get a better Stand
Collect Stand Arrow Fragments from races, quests and Battlegrounds, craft a Stand Arrow and roll. Check the tier list to see which Stands are worth keeping, and redeem codes for free Cash.
Do your daily and weekly quests too. They pay Cash, Spin Tickets, Rokakaka Fruit and Arrow Fragments.
Mistakes new players make
Holding sprint through every turn and running out of stamina before the open stretches where most passing happens. Getting off the horse mid-race, which costs places that are hard to win back. Fighting everyone in Stage 2 instead of making it through the checkpoints.
