Sandman is one of the stands that races on foot instead of riding a horse. It makes huge jumps but takes time to build up speed, so it rewards players who learn the route and keep their momentum. Its full combat kit hasn't been published yet.

Is Sandman good?

We rank Sandman in S tier. Racing on foot with big jumps lets it take lines horses can't. Once it's up to speed it is one of the strongest picks for actually winning the race.

Tips for Sandman

• Don't stop. Sandman is slow to get going, so every wall or tree you hit costs more than it would on a horse.
• Use the big jumps to cut corners over rocks and gaps on the route.
• Learn the Stage 1 route first. On-foot racing pays off most when you know where to jump.

How to get Sandman

Use a Stand Arrow. Arrows are crafted from Stand Arrow Fragments, which you earn from races, quests, the Spin Wheel and loot in Battlegrounds. Codes that give Stand Arrows or Cash are the cheapest way to try for it; see the codes page.
